工欲善其事古人说：工欲善其事，必先利其器。二孬因背不出诗被先生要求罚站思过，恰巧看到师娘在院子里劈柴，上前帮忙得到师娘夸奖有些得意，阿嚏看到心里不快。斧子钝了卡在柴火中，正巧先生走过二孬连忙离开，阿嚏拿起斧子笑他人笨劈不好柴。先生误以为阿嚏拿着钝斧子劈柴，提醒他斧子磨好了才能劈柴，还笑言二孬都不会拿钝斧子劈柴。阿嚏闷闷不乐。课堂上，阿嚏炫耀被先生称赞过的湖笔，先生布置作业好笔写好字，不完成不许吃饭。众孩子责怪阿嚏多此一举。阿嚏和其他孩子打赌用湖笔一定能写好字，不料墨洒笔叉，在大家给冬郎的助威声中，阿嚏输了却责怪笔不好。芊芊提醒大家是“工欲善其事，必先利其器”帮助冬郎赢得胜利。阿嚏欲丢笔被先生阻止，先生指出他失败的原因，再次提醒他工欲善其事，必先利其器的道理。次日大家一起去大枣，阿嚏误解工欲善其事，必先利其器的意思，没有打到枣哇哇大哭。大家把枣分给阿嚏，师娘发现阿嚏打枣的竹竿竟是晒衣架，又好气又好笑。课堂上阿嚏主动把笔分给大家写字，阿嚏写不好大家鼓励他磨好墨别灰心。阿嚏奋笔疾书，念道“工欲善其事，必先利其器”……
